New Agent Version Now Released¶
Exciting news from Getscreen.me for Q3! We have completely revamped our remote connection installation program, the Agent.
We’ve upgraded our technology stack, while our agent connection program remains lightweight at just 7 MB. The application is now faster and more convenient, enhancing connection security significantly.
Usability has been improved by removing unnecessary details and elements, and we've relocated connection history and agent settings to the bottom menu for better accessibility. Now, you can focus on completing your tasks without distractions.
Screen Sharing¶
Simply generate a unique link and share it with anyone you want to grant access to your screen. They can open it in any browser to start the stream.
Permanent Access¶
Just provide the administrator's email, and they will receive a card with your device in their Getscreen.me account for anytime access.
All settings for capabilities and remote desktop access can be adjusted from the bottom menu, including mouse and keyboard control, file transfer, screen shutdown, and permissions for unauthorized connections—everything can be easily enabled.
Currently, it's available only for the Windows platform, but we're actively working on updates for the Agent on Mac and Linux. Stay tuned for our exciting news!
Note
Please note that the new version of the agent is not automatically updated right now for security reasons. You will need to update it manually by downloading it from the web panel or our website, or wait for an automatic update.
Automatic Recovery of Connection with the Server and Agent¶
We have made significant improvements to the remote connection processes in our product, effectively eliminating frustrating disconnections and freezes during remote access. Now, you can enjoy a seamless connection experience without any interruptions.
New Event Notifications¶
In our service's personal account, we've introduced settings for new event notifications for each remote device connected to your account. These notifications include:
- Login to your personal account
- Starting up the connection to the permanent access device
You can choose to receive these notifications via email, Telegram, or as push notifications. Take advantage of this feature to stay updated at all times!
