Stronger Security with Google Authenticator¶
Your feedback drives our roadmap—and one of the biggest requests we’ve heard is stronger account protection. With this update, we’re making Getscreen.me even more secure and flexible for everyday use.
Two-Factor Authentication Arrives¶
We’ve added integration with Google Authenticator, giving you an extra layer of security on top of your login credentials. Now, even if someone knows your password, they won’t be able to access your account without your one-time code.
It’s fast to set up, easy to use, and gives you peace of mind that your remote sessions are safer than ever.
More Tweaks and Improvements¶
Security wasn’t the only thing we improved. Here’s what else is new:
- Device preview toggle – choose whether or not to display device thumbnails in your personal dashboard.
- Telegram notifications fixed – get your alerts without interruption.
- Ongoing Android version updates – we’re continuing to refine and expand Android support.
- Timer for one-time links – add expiration times to temporary connections for extra security.
- File manager history – view past transfers directly in the device card.
- File upload fix – smoother, more reliable uploads.
- German language added – Hallo to our German-speaking users!
- Bug fixes – under-the-hood stability and performance improvements.
Why this Matters¶
Remote access isn’t just about speed and convenience—it’s also about trust.
Whether you’re managing a business, supporting clients, or simply connecting to your own devices, you need to know your sessions are protected. With Google Authenticator support and these added safeguards, Getscreen.me gives you that confidence.
